Welcome to Percy Harding
We're a small seafood merchant based in Birkenhead, on Auckland's North Shore, right by the Waitemata Harbour. New Zealand has some of the cleanest coastal waters in the world, and our job is a simple one: get the best of what comes out of them to your door while it's still at its absolute best.
What we do
We source seafood from New Zealand fisheries and suppliers we know, handle it carefully, and pack it fresh for delivery. Nothing sits around in a warehouse longer than it should, and nothing gets more handling than it needs. Good fish, shellfish, and crustaceans — the kind we'd be happy to put on our own dinner tables.
Why we're different
We're not a big chain. We're a small team, and we'd rather get a few things right than do everything half-well. That means:
- Fresh stock, checked and packed properly
- Honest, clear descriptions of what you're actually buying
- Real people reading your emails when something isn't right
Our promise
If something arrives that isn't up to standard, tell us. We'll sort it out. That's the whole reason we're doing this.
